Notes created using Simple Notes are stored locally using the Chrome Extension Storage API (chrome.storage.local).
Your notes are not transmitted to our servers and are not accessible to us.
When you select the "Download Notes" option, the extension creates a text file containing your note and uses Chrome's download functionality to save the file on your device.
The downloaded file is controlled by you and is not uploaded to our servers.
We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your personal information to third parties.
Simple Notes does not use your notes for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing.
Simple Notes does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking services, or external data-processing services.
Because your notes are stored locally on your device, the security of the stored information also depends on the security of your Chrome browser and device.
We recommend keeping your browser and operating system updated and using appropriate security measures on your device.
Simple Notes does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
